C15 is a restaurant concept created for a client who is a chef (specialised in italian cuisine), and loves hosting people in his home. The design is meant to spark a connection and nostalgia of old Kuwaiti homes. The facade elements such as the glass blocks, large wooden doors with an intricate knocker, and the arabesque pattern are derived from historic Kuwaiti architecture, with a contemporary twist that includes the hidden lights, concrete and the simple geometric shape. The interior design aspect is warm and simple, and includes two large dining tables, as well as a kitchenette, similar to kitchen units a person would find in their home.
